That's looking at this system optimistically. Most people will stubbornly compete to kill the same trash-drop NM solo, or only in a party of friends/LS mates.

I had the same argument with my LS. I think "most people" would team up if asked nicely (if all they want are Scylds). By stubbornly competing, they risk not getting the claim at all. And they are just as anxious about losing the claim as you are.

Edit: And if all YOU want are Scylds, tell them they can have party leader and quartermaster whoever they want for the drop(s), or kick you after the kill.

I was told that the lyft Volge gave 0.45 STR for each party member (max 6 members). for a total of +4 STR. Thats one of the hidden effects on the weapon that was currently found. Not sure if all lyft weapons have the same exact hidden effect or different hidden effects. Also not sure if they have 1 hidden or more then 1.

As for the aern weapons. You can see a bunch of holes etched on them when you look at them which reminded me of the description of evolith slots... however, The weapons are r/ex and as of now, we assume all evolith augmented items are not rare or exclusive.
The ebon gear etc is not r/ex and I think those would be used for evolith.
Have to wait till late november update to see if r/ex works with evolith otherwise those aern weapons are used for something else. The base Damage on the great sword, sword and polearm are very high however for their types.

Don't assume this. SE stated that you will need to trade an item to an NPC to determine whether or not it supports evolith.

FoV Augmentable items: Follow a pattern of criteria, so no NPC is needed.
Evolith Items: No discernable pattern, ask an NPC to find out.
