got my droid finally and it seems quite nice though the mail app built in to the system is atrocious. i found k9 mail skimming the internet for a replacement and it seems decent, but does anyone have any better options?

I've had some issues with the Email program but the Gmail one seems to work just fine. Go figure.

This is probably going to sound like a retarded question but here goes anyway, how the fuck do you save sound clips from text messages?

Bump is a great app to trade contacts with considering you can use it with other Android and iPhone users. If you happen to use Twitter, Twidroid is a great app and the free edition gets the job done.

Bump is great, but both people have to have it plus a phone that's compatible. Never really use it.

I'm almost positive that if your phone can run Bump it's compatible with any phone. I was able to bump my HTC Hero with my roommates iPhone which blew my mind.

I believe full retail is $559. I also wasn't eligible for an upgrade though (I had a year left on my contract, and I didn't have a high enough plan to qualify for their early upgrade option). I went in to the store and they basically told me I might get a special offer in the mail, and a few days later I got one from them offering me the early upgrade. Go in and talk to them, I'm almost positive I only got the mailer because I went in. Either that or they sent it to all Storm owners because they knew we were unhappy lol. They probably won't offer you the upgrade price on the spot, but they might put you in the system to get the mailer.

If you use AIM, get Hi aim. Its free and uses your 3g instead of txts for aim messaging. Also, streamfurious, both free or pay, is nice if you listen to internet radio. I also have advanced task manager to kill apps still running in backround since that is a major killer of battery life. Finally, I got barcode scanner for scanning random barcodes and comparing prices while at a store.

Meebo is amazing. They're constantly updating it to make it better and better too. It's based on www.meebo.com
