Also, how is the Evo gear going to be any good if the stats they can have can only be from the following?:

Town gear.

Actually, most of the stats aren't listed, just the conditions for activating them. The preview page shows basic stuff like ATT or -enmity along with ability timers. Given the categories listed there, making WS gear or casting gear may result in some decent pieces.

For example, the RDM/BLU/BRD body is pretty much shit for RDM. But, if we can get some decent stat augments...ie, Earth Elemental Enfeebling Magic : +10 MND, Ice Elemental Enfeebling Magic: +10 MND, in addition to the base 5 MND, and you get a better potency piece than is available now.

I kinda doubt we'll actually be able to get something quite like that, but at worst maybe we can save some inventory slots by putting relatively unrelated, situational stats on a single piece.

I know it doesnt break the game but I actually like the 2 hour augments. Could be fun if you get stuff like

Hundred Fist: Accuracy+20
etcetcetc

Things like that, although situational, could be pretty fun.
