I just noticed something. A lot of these new items will probably be drops from the new NMs they added to each zone. Kinda nice to have a new incentive to spend time in old zones again but....damn I hate NMs so much. Just not my idea of fun to hunt a silly monster for hours to often get outclaimed and even if you do get the claim the 3-7% drop rate says screw you... ;_;

Hopefully they will be force-pop NMs - still annoying but less so.

not sure if im disregarding any math but

1) to be any good it needs at LEAST a +100TP evo,not?
2) if this would benefit hagun too(put on armor or hagun itself), itd still beat any other gkt as hagun jumps from 200 to 300 and other GKTs just from 100 to 200, makin hagun still superior,not?)
3) so the only way to render hagun outdated would be, if it wouldnt stack with haguns tp bonus?

Wow, Shantotto addon looks like it might be more than fetch quests for half the missions. Still hate that annoying !@$#$ though.

Has there been any finds on all these supposed new NMS in nearly every FFXI zone? I'm kind of hoping they really are just normal NMs that drop all these new items we've seen... That'd be a nice way to revitalize alot of old places in the game

If Ebur, Ebon, and Furia sets have the same stats for specific jobs regardless of the job like that RNG/COR on Ebur/Ebon/Furia sets, then that leads to one conclusion:

Mix-and-match sets to your liking, with whatever color you want.

That means more variety in armors now. ^^

You can have a red hat with white body and black legs/feet with specific stats. That sounds awesome right there.

Err... have you guys talking about the death of Hagun looked at the fTP for Gekko/etc? If you could put more TP bonus onto Hagun it would be even more badass of a weapon.

People use Hagun just to boost from 100 to 200TP. Imagine of Hagun could boost from 100 to 300TP, or 100 to 250TP. Normally Hagun gives a 20% increase in fTP with +100TP during WS. Boosting it to +150TP during WS would make it a 40% increase in fTP.
For Hagun to stay 20% better than a +100 TP Bonus Onimaru, it would only need +60 TP Bonus. Furthermore, Hagun has no tags and Onimaru is Rare, so the odds of Hagun being Inscribable are probably higher than Onimaru.

i guess that wouldnt matter as you can get those augs on armors and i think theres a pretty decent chance that SE will make augment TP bonus non-stackable with haguns
