No. This isn't "CoP style difficulty." CoP fetishists salivate over brutally hard challenges, which is at least understandable. ASA however tells you to play dice against the random-number generator far more than fair, and can invalidate any amount of time spent along the way if synths decide to fail (to say nothing of artificial group-forcing like "only /ra damages these mobs"). It's not a fair challenge. It's not "difficulty" in any reasonable sense. It's just assholish random chance for the sake of artificially lengthening gameplay.
It's like they saw people clearing ACP and MKE in like a day or two each, then decided to make ASA say "fuck you" as loudly as it could. JP midnight waits were too good for us, apparently.
