Our strategy was based on what we noticed on the first two fights: when they flip out (accompanied by 2hr animation) they are just cemented on their target until that person dies. On our 2nd try, I got hate as SAM and with two RDMs bomb curing me I still went down because of the rapid-fire weapon skills and spells.
Instead of spending all the effort trying to save the target and the party from the nasty AOE spells and WS's, we decided we would treat it like a Citadel Buster, where the target pulls to the back corner of the room and everyone else ducks out to the hallway until that person dies. This worked the first time they flipped out, I took hate, pulled away, they had their way with me and then they went back to normal.
The idea is, "Sacrificial Chamber" may play into the strategy. Also, the super-reraise is probably not a coincidence, it's clear SE wanted you to get KO'd as a part of this fight.
The next time they flipped out though, around 50%, our second SAM took hate and got worked over, but they then made a bee-line for me and continued their rampage, eventually light/darkness skillchaining us each one after another. The strategy seemed to be working, but we either screwed up somewhere or we're meant to just go all-out and kill them before they kill us (a la Tenzen fight).
Any other thoughts from people who have tried the fight?
