Not sure, before they raged my big 3were doing great dmg, 800~1k. Once they raged my spells were doing crap like 300~400 so I guess they get higher stats or something..? The group was fighting one while I held the other and I got her to 70% myself with just spells so BLU is nice to hold the mob, and she attacked so slow so it was easy spamming big3 and keeping shadows up. I don't think magic does anything at all vs these two even breath spells.

Well, now that the dust is settling and people are regularly finishing this battle, I think it's safe to say, ASA was actually pretty fun. Not terribly tedious, a decent tradeable farming item set, and some challenging but not horrible battles. But most of all, I particularly LOVED the ending. That was the kind of humor I'd expect from a Shantotto storyline, and I was quite pleased.

Did you do this first day? The competition and drop rate was reminiscent of Seedspalls all over again. Then there's the whole possibility of breaking at any point through the first quest and having to re-do farming legs

The farming itself was horrible(I farmed 1 extra of every item to cover possible failed synths), but partially made up for by the profit I made selling the extra synth'd items.

From the Ninja fight onward though, it was more fun by far than the terrible ACP, or the also-terrible-but-the-cs-made-my-gf laugh MKD.

That said, I still have the behemoth key and no idea what to do with it. Next expansion will need to have something gamebreakingly good for me to pay for it.

Yeah our group just beat this. hehe i say our group, really it myself and a friend in the group. Two others in LS had just reached this fight. And yet another two from LS came just to help out. Which was very nice of them. Thank you Vagus and Xzander. I owe you both one.

    Line Up: PLD/nin SAM/nin SAM/war MNK/nin WHM/sch WHM/sch

-PLD body agro both after buffs
-MNK chi blasted to pull black one all the way back to the door
-PLD held white on as far inside the room as possible
-Melee pile on the black one
-WHM are at maximum casting range form the damage party
-At 75% white one comes to assist the black one
. Note: Most state that white one will come in and WS with black one. We
. did not witness this. It came to assist the black one with spells only.
. This might be due to the distance between the black one and the white
. one. But, never saw a SC.
-PLD can pull white one off the group and back to position shortly after it assists the black one
-At 50% the same thing happens, but PLD has issues pulling the white one away again.
-At this time Melees all blow two hours, dishing out as much pain as they can.
-WHM's need to watch for Paralyzega, this is a possible reason for party wipe.
-One WHM needs to be ready for Curaga IV, the other needs to be ready on Cure V.
-black one will not die until its rage ends
-black ones rage ends, it dies
-Repeat this process on the white one
-Save resources for the last 25% of the white one, WHMs will need the MP stored for this
-Same deal with black one really, wont die till rage ends

    Couple notes:
    1) WHM's at maximum casting range will be out of most of the nasty aoe status effects range. Do not let them be in range of enfeebles on purpose, for Esuna. If they messed up, cool. come in and ensuna. But do not do this on purpose, it causes wipes.

    2) everyone who casts needs to bring Echo drops

    3) Elixirs are huge for WHM's, without them, they will run out of MP. And when you are Spaming high tier Cure Spells, just having refresh wont cut the mustard. This combined with a 2-3k MP bar.. regular Ethers wont fill you up nearly as much as a decent grade Elixir. Your talking about 50 MP from an ether vs. ~1000 MP for a decent Elixir.

If you come to this fight correct. Not cheep. Youre already a huge step above pick up groups. but thats not the most important part of this. Its the players you bring. If you bring good players, this fight will go smoothly. If you have a couple people in the group who do not listen to strategy talks, dont bring meds, and so on, your going to have a difficult time at this.

    Thank you,
    Vagus
    Jaxzer
    Potpressure
    Xzander
    and Blaize

    thank you very much.

Actually, yes, I did to this the first day, in a 10-man alliance. We all split up into the 3 areas and farmed up enough for all simultaneously. That was the point - we could freely give materials to each other, which was a nice thing. Even with some breaks, there were spares to be had.

yeah i chuckled at that very last CS lol. It was definately quality.

I also enjoyed the majority of the final cutscene. Considering a movie will run close to 10 bucks, i thought this mini pack was actualy worth the money. Over all, it was entertaining.

Dunno if it's been said before but is there any way to re-check which enfeeblement kit she wants? Tried checking mission menu but no dice.

Also, if you talk to any of the craft NPCs that give you the recipies (e.g. the Alchemist in Bastok), they mention the enfeeblement kit you need to make in their text.
