I was given the enfeeblement kit of blindness. went to the orestary and was told to get 2 bast parchment, inferior cocoon, and use an earth crystal. where is it ppl are getting told to go to the tanners guild and alchemist guild?

fyi, i've tried combining the 2 bast parchments, cocoon, and potion w the earth crystal w no luck.. invalid combination

You don't synth with the potion...just the parchment and cocoon

^ Confirmed with Earth Crystal. I just did a Blindness potion, and the description is WRONG.

2 Ink, 2 Parchment, Box and Blindness Potion = The item needed (Earth Crystal). However, the description reads 3 Inks, not 2.

They use their 2hrs several times (do a few hundred damage) but are essentially pretty harmless if you can heal yourself.

i have a padded box. question is what is it i do with it after i crafted it? am i still to go to these two guilds? if so, i didn't see anything in the dialog hinting at me needing to go there

The new "Kit" reads; two jars of ink, 3 sheets of parchment, and one essence of "x". I havn't got far enough to try the synth yet.. but my guess is=

1 Padded Box, 2 Enchanted Inks, 3 Sheets of Fine Parchement, and your "Potion" you were told (1 of the 3) from the CS.

Above is conjecture. Confirm/Deny would be great! (I'll edit when I can)

At least make an attempt to read what other people have posted? I mean, this thread is only on page 4, I don't think it's really that much to ask someone to read that little bit.

But the answer to your question is in the posts surrounding your own question. you need 1 padded box, 2 ink (from alchemist subquest) and 2 parchment (from tanner subquest), plus your assigned potion to make the kit you need.

You're told to go to an Orastery employee, an alchemist, and a tanner during the cutscene with your moogle in sarutabaruta.
