Anyone who's been camping Kotan-kor Kamuy, I just want to make sure I'm killing the right hippogryph. I have Thornys dat pack and I've been killing C#1. Based on everything I've read this is the rigt one, but I couldn't get it to pop last night after 2 hours. Maybe I'm just unlucky with the lotto spawn but i figured asking to double check can't hurt. Also I couldnt find it's death spot and I checked up in Fey Spring and down at the Guntower. I guess it never popped on Ifrit since the maint or something. =/

I'm being as nice as possible when I say this, so please dont take offence. But are you even reading the god damn thread? Theres a list of the NM's with unknown drops on this very page, THIS...VERY...PAGE (of default page settings that is).

Didn't check back on this until today. Yes I read every page of the thread. I'm being as nice as possible when I say this, but fuck yourself. I was wondering if someone had an idea as to which of the remaining NMs dropped it. That being said, thanks for finding it.

I did zone/nuke, though it can get ganked like that. If youre familiar with CN-s, theres a loop you can kite forever. Theres stairs leading up to the drop in the present day ballsack room, as well as the drop off on the way out is no longer there. You can kite both ways without any problems.

Watch out for 1k+ Dark Spore though, and the fact it does deaggro.

Do you think BST/dnc or a SMn could solo it?

A smn ganked it from me while I was fighting it. they spent something like 10 minutes, dropped it down 9%, and wiped. From what I noticed, you can get fucked over, because Dark Spore seems to have the ability to 1shot your avatars the moment its summoned, which can wind up getting you caught with your pants down. Smn solo is possible in theory with MP drinks, but very risky. 2 smn could probably do it without any hassle.

BST/DNC should have no problem if your call beast timer is low or down at start of fight and you have a fresh pet out. SMN I believe could also pull it off if you play it smart; a mountain buster would take the NM down 20-30%~ its not very tough it just likes to spam double ray which was hitting my THF for about 150-300~. Rogue Receptacle also does not use magic at all which makes things a great deal easier

Safe to say then I guess that using Fenrir/Diabolos will still get one shotted hmm
