Scylla and Charybdis are both from the Odyssey. They both guarded some passageway that Odysseus had to sail his ship thru.

Charybdis was some big monster that destroyed entire ships whereas Scylla was some serpent, so Odysseus chose to sail past Scylla so only a few crew were sacrificed instead of the whole ship.

They're making comments that both mythological mobs are finally in game.

It dropped a material called 'Ensanguine cloth'.

We found him around G-6 in the basement when we killed him. Though he did have odd behavior because our first attempt we didn't prepare and he almost killed us so we ran and he deaggroed but didn't go anywhere. We waited for a friend and a meditate timer x2 went to go find him and he was almost in the same spot he deaggroed at.

Wivre in Wajaom was annoying, spammed Boiling Blood and Demoralizing Roar (never used Granite Skin). Para landed fine, Slow was resisted (need moar hat, didn't have /BLM to test ES).

RNG just ripped it a new asshole though.

EDIT: Anyway, that crab in Buburimu (WWW) is a confirmed lotto pop. Went down to camp it some before maintenance. After killing a few crabs, it popped, and some JP NIN got it who was just cruising along. Definitely gonna keep camping this, as that staff is actually quite decent low levels, and I'm leveling RDM up atm :/.

EDIT 2: This NM can pop ANYWHERE in those dunes, not just along the beach. It popped in the trees north of that area, around (H-9)

Didn't remember his name, but found a fomor NM in Maze. I assumed it would be a sissy, but it took several mins to kill, no drop. Was around the protozoan/catcherpilliar area.

Gloombound somethingerother. I killed 'em too but didn't drop anything. D:
TH4 is a lie.. a lie!! Took me like, an hour to farm up 4 of those stupid cocoons >_>

Edit: Actually, this was near the entrance, past the first room near the gobs, worms and bats, by a big pile of bones near the tunnel. Either there are multiple fomor NM's down there or he has a huge spawn area.

Decided to hunt Nandi in Eastern Altepa Desert again, dropped Rathe Earring. Fucker is seriously annoying once it starts getting below 30%. Every few seconds it just keeps spamming healing breeze.
