Can someone check this for me? Just noticed that there only 3 birds up after I killed the NM. Was 4 while I was killing all the Diatrymas, including those towards Sacrarium and under the bridge. The NM also popped south of the river (south of the bridge), so it could just be straight lotto from one of the birds south of the bridge being its PH. This needs verification, but I'll start camping this NM also 'til I get a drop -.-;

Groups and numbers all diatrymas in the zone, if you can pop it with this dat loaded you can easily single out the placeholder by viewing bodies on any bot or apradar as well as checking which other mobs are currently up.

Still glad to make these for any NM if people are interested, and would love if someone who got cradle horn NM to pop would check which if any were missing with my grauberg dat ><; I'm well over 12 hours spent there with no luck popping it.

Keep camping Eyegouger, and I'll go after another NM to see if I can get something interesting to drop. I'm also very interested in getting those 2 MAB/MACC set earrings.

@thorn: Going after the Diatryma NM later. Its a definite lotto, but I wasn't able to accurately pin-point its PH, but I'm definitely intrigued :3

I meant if you load the rapidshared .dat before camping it becomes significantly easier to narrow down placeholders. It just gives a visible number to each of them(which will show ingame as well as on apradar or whatever you were using to see the bomb NM's body). Need to relog or change zones for it to take effect.

More on Donnergugi: it's a beetle, very likely a lotto spawn off of the expables near the zone. I was killing dhamels because I swore that's what people said it is, but went afk and came back to found a WHM PLing a party had taken it down. "Its tough enough to hurt a 75 whm" was all I got. Only 6k gil dropped.

Gonna hang out to see if I can find a respawn window.

2 Hours of Beetle killing and had a respawn. Wasn't a terrible solo WHM/NIN, couldn't manage to silence him, para and slow worked. I'm going to roughly guess 5k HP, but that's based on some eyeballing. As reported had stonega 2, rasp, stone 3. Stonega II did only 54 damage, had roughly 50% accuracy on me. 38-71 damage when he did hit me past a shadow.

Dropped only Thunder Coral, 1/1 :D

Just got raped by Melusine in East Ron (S), Pixie NM. Blizzaga 3 for 1.2k damage. Its up on Remora if anyone wants to kill.. I'm not going near it :/

I'm being judicious with which Diatryma I'm killing now, so I should have some answers soon. I've got Dynamis-Valk soon though, so I'm about done for the night with this.

Elatha finally repopped for us much easier then yesterday, something new we learned today though is that it lvl's up every single time a pld flashses it.

Just got raped by Melusine in East Ron (S), Pixie NM. Blizzaga 3 for 1.2k damage. Its up on Remora if anyone wants to kill.. I'm not going near it :/

I wouldn't doubt that there is a pixie in the 3 nation areas. The one in West Saru [S] seems to be aligned with light and spams Spring Breeze (TP Reduction + Sleep) and Banish(ga)/Holy line of spells. Normal hits for about 130-200.

I suspect that since Melusine casts Blizzaga 3, it is ice aligned and probably only uses Winter Breeze (AoE Dispel) out of the breeze line of TP moves.

Edit: The pixie in Gustaberg spams Wind spells and uses Autumn Breeze (HP heal).

Actually, I duo'd Melusine earlier with a pld/nin (I was on whm) and that's exactly what she spammed. She spammed Winter Breeze and only Winter Breeze and quite often liked to follow either Blizzard IV or Blizzaga III immediately following the TP move (which btw, according to the PLD, also stunned in addition to dispel).

Shellra IV and Barblizzara helped the PLD survive (cutting Blizzaga 3 to 400-800 dmgs). She spammed the move so much to the point where the PLD was constantly stunned but we won; no drops.

There was some weird glitch, NM got stuck on our bearded blu for a long time during fight and it happened like twice or so. Basically our plds couldn't take hate off of him with all the things a pld has. Also, NM wasn't casting at that time, was easy to WS him without pull hate or curing him.
Reminds me of Experimental Lamia thing, when she freezes for some time and does nothing while we can kill adds. Weird.

To elaborate:
With -50% MDT from shell/gear blizzaga3 was doing about 550, stoneskin reduced to <200. Melee was in the 40s in pdt gear with phal up on RDM. THF/RNG went 1/3 on interrupting blizzaga unhasted, I'd say any mage job can solo easily and melee shouldn't have much trouble if they have a method of interrupting blizzaga. Slow, para, poison stuck easily. Single resist each on sleep and bind, didn't spam them so may just be fluke.

So like, i'm camping Eyegouger right now again, and im getting confused >.O

The birds here either roam huge or have fked up respawns, everytime i come back from afk theres a new Ba on my hill...

i assume its 5 minute respawn, being outdoors, but everytime i look up i swear theres another bird spawned on my Hill >.<;;

i thought i had the PH pretty down too.

I was leaving the one at the bottom alone. I'm about 80% certain it was the 3rd Diatryma in the group of 4, but it may have been the 2nd. About 10 min after killing the NM, there are now only 3 Diatryma in that group (they're a 5 minute repop).

Also, he drops light crystals.

Edit: Hmm...the 4th one just popped, and it was the 2nd that was lagging behind. I'm not familiar with lottery pops and wide scan, does it sound right that the PH would pop within about 15 minutes of killing the NM? If so, it looks like the 2nd Diatryma in that group was PH, not the 3rd.
