Just duo'd a cock NM in Sauro [S] (Coquecigrue), just outside of Garl. Citadel [S]. Tried soloing it on BST, but has a enpetrify on it's hits. Pain in the ass. Decided to nuke kite it with a RDM friend. Only crystal drop.
Important notes: grav and bind wouldn't stick. Para, slow and blind did. Doesn't hit too hard, 100-150ish, CC was hitting it for about the same. Cast quake, stone IV and stonega III.
0/2 on Boompadu =(, if it helps he's very weak to Water Damage, all of my other spells were 50~100 damage. But I managed 375~475 consistently with Water III.
Takes 20~ish mins solo if CS at the start and nuke throughout casting Bio and Poison.

I have a strange feeling this Lizardtrap is just going to drop a Glyph thing, and the other half of the AGI earrings is on the Goblintrap.
All these glyph dropping monsters generally been strong attack but low HP NM's with either:
decent chaincast speed
strong add effect
TP spam
I'm not sure if this was already posted, but if you cast a nuke on Tethra at the same time it is casting a spell it will cure him. Tested nukes while he wasn't casting, did damage.
Killed Kotan-kor Kamuy after killing Hippo's for bout 2 hours.
Wasn't too hard, straight tanked with a PLD/NIN and had a RDM/DRK and BLM stunning Hoof Volley. Hard to get them all, but if we missed the tank usually still had shadows up, think it took him down to 200hp like twice. Hard to hold hate when ur terrored all that time. No drop though.. /sigh
Just killed Nis Puk, Puk NM at Mamool Ja Staging Point, was in the area with all the skoffins. It hits hard, from 160-250+ on a SAM/NIN 75, with 40-50+ wind added effect on every hit.
We killed it with SAM/NIN x2 + BRD + RDM, with the BRD weakened for pretty much the entire fight (hard pull with all the mobs around it alive), and one SAM dying early on. I solo tanked it for most of its HP then 2-houred at about 15% to finish it off. Should note that it has very high evasion, I had a mithkabob on and could hardly hit it until the BRD gave us Madrigal.
It doesn't seem to use Wind Shear, but it did Crosswind a lot, so recommended to put your back against a wall. Can also use Ill Wind. It may have just been weirdness with the timing, but it also seemed to hit me a few times even when I had third eye up.
No drop, naturally.
Not to add fuel to the fire, but there are 12 different tokens and 12 different armor sets (The level 71 sets in the .dats).
can confirm that Ethniu is stunable, no matter how much hp.

Ok, took another go at Killer Jonny, I didn't notice this last time but his attacks have en-poison them, looked to be 200HP/tic poison.
With 18 (according to wiki) different spawns of the Mountain Scolopendrids, it's going to be hard to nail down which are the possible PHs. I just took a run around Meriph_S on chocobo to see where they spawn but I'm going to need some more info before i start killing them. Is anyone able to post a list of the Meriph_S mobs showing where in the widescan list that Centipedal Centruroides shows up so i can try and figure out which batch to be killing? Anything to narrow down the hunt would be useful...
Edit: Went out on WHM75/RNG1 and widescanned around, definitely 18 Mountain Scolos. Fairly Easy solos as SCH/RDM with the usual Nuke/Sleep/Grav/Bind etc methods.
Just got done with a 3 hour merit party and had a bit of excitement at the start.
Went to mamool ja staging point and was meriting on mamools and wyverns and killing sea puks to hold chain while waiting for respawns. Ive done this camp many times so wasn't really paying attention to what i was pulling ( i was the brd)
All of a sudden my face is getting raped by this sea puk from hell. Glad rdm was on the ball and cured me fast.
Been a few hours but I think the puks name was Nim Puk. He hangs out near the staging point in the middle of all the wyverns.
Took him out with a party of War War Sam Sam Rdm Brd. Completly unprepared (and lost exp chain too >:O ) Hits really hard and likes to spam that aoe puk move. Near wipe (no death but we were all in red hp) but if we had been prepared wouldn't have been as bad.
No Drops... Just dont pull him on accident if you merit at this camp >.>
duo'd copper borer blm/nin+rdn/nin. It spawns next to zone to woodlands in havung, rdm/nin held near zone while I(blm/nin) nuke/dot zoned, took about 20~ min w/ all the zoning.. no drop though
it seemed to only use thermal pulse when it had TP.
I assume its time spawn as there are no wamouracampa around that area
Just 4 man'ed Abatwa jesus christ this guy is like a chigoe on crack. Triple attacks every hit almost and spams slumber powder. Really low HP though.

Oops, forgot info.
I-7 Map leading to Simurgh (Map 2 )
When my party fought the Nis Puk it was extremely easy. Would have kept chain if the war hadn't moved out of the way of my first WS >,<. With a really good pt setup you could probably chain it. Biggest difference we noticed was HP. Attack speed didn't seem so bad so with marches your pt shouldn't take much dmg, even if the kill is slow.
Pretty damn sure this man is onto something. Ebur, Ebon, and whatever-the-red-one-is pigments, along with these, should be some of the ingredients involved in making these base equips. My guess is a lot of the new crafting materials are necessary. IE if you want a certain armor piece, you'll need an iridium ingot (the new Dragon in Xarc S is one of the mobs that drops them), a pigment for the color you want, and the trophy corresponding to the set you'd like.Originally Posted by Setsuryu
From there, my guess is that these are going to be some of the better pieces of gear that will allow for slotting for the evolith system.a
