346 skill, dropping nash hands and af+1 feet, but with penance robe, ring and bahamut's staff, he is 6 a tick without favor up.
with favor up, and idling for about 15 minutes, he evens out, no regain on MP.
what's the difference in amount between 2 a tic, 3 a tic minimum, and 4 a tic 317?
Deleted post: sorry didn't count the favor - perp cost
skill, not mp.

considering the avatar favor system works similar to buffs provided by corsair's roll, I think it would seem fair that they don't tier it according to skill level or player Lv, but instead give bonuses based on excess skill that you have.
this is also similar to BP:rage/ward changes where SMN skill over cap would affect a bonus, but underskilled players would not gain or lose anything.
As it is, we've currently established bonus tier to be +48 skill over cap at Lv75, and I am want to believe theres no penalty for being below cap, you just won't be able to hit the bonus..
but much testing to be done in that area.. so Idk
The only thing I'd really like to ask is if the bonus tier of +48 skill is a requirement at other levels too. I don't know any 74 SMN or 74 friends to sync down to try this out. Because if this is so, it probably means that they mainly wanted the bonus tiers to be available at very high (merit range) levels only.
Sorry for the necro, but was just examining some information and not sure if it was realized in the past (skimmed all pages but didn't see).
Avatar's Favor gives a MAB penalty (~ -20) but Shiva's Favor gives a MAB bonus (~ +10). So I have to question the testing of the effects & accuracy of information.Penalty testing: 1330 Heavenly Stirke went down to 1151 which is about 14-15% damage penalty.
Shiva's Favor does not work on Shiva.
Avatar's Favor does not affect the Avatar itself, which is probably the biggest detriment to the ability. Easily tested using Carbuncle's Favor.
