I thought Aikar took it down EVERY patch day so that it wouldn't overload his ISP while he was debugging the latest version...

Once he has the fixed plugin, he channels all windower traffic just to that specific plugin download, as to save total bandwith usage.

1) Update broke some shit.
2) Windower.net was getting WAY too much traffic
3) Aikar was at work and unable to fix broken stuff
4) Way too much traffic + no fixes available yet + actual site problems due to server transition + 50% of the FFXI community looking for help = server taken offline temporarily.

No SE isn't fucking Aikar up in a back alley.
No There's no word on when shit will be fixed yet.

And yes, it's Lupis.

The site and forums are up... I've been watchin them since bout 10:30am EST... Aikar most likely just took the site down to keep all the people from bitching bout broken shit yesterday.... Recast always goes nuts when a new ability is added.

I can get to the screen where you click PLAY before it opens up into a full window where you choose your character--- Then it just restarted Windower from the main screen.

Well as everyone knows Recast is broke.

Please open Windower/scripts/init.txt and replace the line "load Recast" with "//load Recast"

Also since the maints hits the server load high, ive moved the site to my server so its not overloading the previous host every maint. so theres a dns change currently going on, if your here your good!

ChatMon will be fixed this afternoon. its actually funny to why it isnt working but its extremely simple (SE's new spam filter is triggering my protection I put in to never filter a GM's text, and it thinks any message flagged as spam is a GM tell) so just gotta update that to handle the new spam value and golden.

Be patient on recast please, there is absolutely no ETA atm as I need to get ahold of starhawk about it.
