Running a check now. The main parts of FFXI Style already reverted (text and icons), the only stuff that was still changed was the chat window background AFAIK. Will know in a few minutes if filecheck fixes it. Not sure why only Whitegate NPCs would do this though... the Moogle in Tavnazia where I logged in at first was fine, I only had problems after I warped to Whitegate for assaults.

If anyone still cares, called a GM about my blackscreen thing after zoning out of MH and he warped my character but then I d/ced and logged back on to the blackscreen.. I'm over this for today.

Did a file check, still not working right >.> It only replaced 40 files, I'm assuming most of those were my gear swaps.

edit: zoned to Al Zahbi, NPCs there seem to be fine, it's only NPCs in Whitegate that won't talk to me >.>

edit 2: copied the entire ROM/0/ folder from my husband's computer, then did a file check which downloaded 1 file, and I seem to be ok now.

Im stuck at MH >> WG zone and everytime i log onto my main i crash immediately, called a GM on my mule but apparently they cant do a god damn thing about it since im not on my main that i want warped. I always thought a GM can warp you to mordion gaol for example even if you are not logged in to where you WILL log in at jail.

Seeing as how alot of people commit crimes then logout thinking that will do anything, figured GM could be like fuck you when you log back in your gonna be sitting in jail regardless. I guess Im wrong.

it's definitely not working I have it loaded and doesn't show anything. Also though I got crash error; it's kind that doesn't crash my FFXI unless I click it >.>.

Can't tell a difference in attack with or without it (on a side note, the new log messages are kind of annoying). Wasn't paying enough attention to see if the +snapshot on VS is working or not, I'll look tomorrow.

I didn't parse but I swear I was missing a stupid amount of Gekkos in dynamis today (more than the usual 5% from gekko + mobs parrying them here and there I'm used to). Might just be reckless eyeballing and post-patch paranoia though.

Correct -- you're wrong. Depending upon the GM you get, they may flat out explain to you that your character can only be moved if it's completely logged in. Otherwise, they can't interact with you. It's why they can't relocate people who, say, log in when they're missing an expansion, but can't actually play because they're in one of that expansion's areas.

You get to contact the super duper awesome Support Center for help with this kind of problem (if you can't fix it otherwise). You should be excited!

Unload Recast if you have it, that should fix it

Try to not reapply ffxistyle, if you look at first post on Kimiko's blog FFXIStyle & FFXICartography you will find the original files to download

Probably the old version is not compatible anymore.

Actually, it's not a good idea to reapply this either because they are the backup files from the previous update. The new version of FFXIStyle should be out this evening or tomorrow. I didn't have the original files yesterday.

Has anyone tried fixing recast? I'm not too familiar with coding or anything, but it seems like you need to add in ID information to the recast resources file. I tried myself but it didn't work, maybe I did it wrong? or this just isn't how you go about fixing it?
