1) Leave the scene, call the cops, make yourself available for statements. The damage is done to the girl, jumping in to "save" her at this point isn't going to do much for her.

2) Let the professor know something is up without naming names. If they don't believe you, after the dumbest person in the class sets the curve, I think that will throw some red flags up.

3) Never be the one to snitch on a girls current boyfriend. It just puts you in the cross-hairs and more often than not, she's not going to believe you until you have proof. Even if you provide said proof, she's going to deny it's true and start to hate you instead of liking you.

You break the rules, someone gets told. There's no "honor" in being a cheating, stealing fail at life, even if you have friends to help you cheat, steal, and fail at life.

My view is a bit jaded. Having worked in a Union in a warehouse environment when I was younger, I saw what happened to snitches in there. You got beef, take it with whoever is giving you shit. Now when it comes to serious moral issues like rape etc then by all means do so. As far as human society is concerned that's reporting a crime, not snitching.

I never claimed anything about no self interest. I just understand where Brill is coming from. I'd rather talk to the person directly because if you go through HR or a supervisor it goes on record and it can get messier.
