Seriously, what percentage of people that you would never want to group with in FF do you think rolled Asmo? Im going with 90-95%.

My 43 lvls on the Elyos side has been relatively drama free. So refreshing.

I find it amusing people will always point their fingers at the tank when shit goes wrong lol. Seriously people complaining about their soul heal debt are big pussies, had one instance where a sin held a blue loot from a templar because of dying 3x and blamed him for it. Was gonna enchant the thing until the templar put loot to himself(leader) before a leather dropped lul.

I try to avoid the saber rattling on the race front, but I will admit to seeing more aggressive comments from Asmos on whatever forum I pick at. Probably the biggest fueler is how Elyos have it "easier" in terms of various quests, which usually isn't the case since they tend to ignore chains or what comes between A and B.

I wish I could say the same. I haven't been playing much, but every time I log on, I try to do something group related. Don't get me wrong, I love the freedom to solo as I please, but it's nice when a group comes together and gets things done. That said, I've done as much TC as I possible could before 28 and almost every run, there is someone who bitches about this and that drop.

I don't understand the mentality, but people seem to get upset about the smallest things. Even if it's a trash item that no one really needs, as soon as a job that can't readily equip it rolls on it, all hell breaks out. There is this stagnating mentality that must have sipped its way from other MMOs. People just bitch for the sake of bitching on items even if it doesn't matter at all. I've come to the conclusion that there are certain people who group up just for the sake of saying, "Why did you roll that? Your job doesn't need it lol." It happens time and again. I just don't get it. Last run I did on TC, some trash ring dropped that gave +MP. Templar rolled on it because no one really gave a shit except this Cleric, who didn't need it either. However, the cleric just had to bitch about the whole thing for like 10 minutes. Sheesh.

Maybe people need to step back into reality when some pixel items get them all hot and bothered.

I get a bit flustered if I'm rolling for something I could use and somebody who can't does, too, but it's been pretty rare where the situation's been make or break. Ultimately, if I'm in a PUG with a friend or two and people are free rolling, I'll do it just for the chance of winning something my friend(s) might need just to give over to them later.

I think all of us - especially after playing FFXI - have seen this kind of drama (and perhaps being responsible at times for it) over and over. You do get a sense of deja vu. Like a 'what the fuck am I doing typing angrily about pixels...again'! Especially when you get older in MMO-years (if you began at 18 like me and are 24 now... for example).

And then over time you just don't give a fuck anymore and mellow out.

Getting angry, sure, it happens to everyone occasionally. Being pissed off every time you play with unskilled people? Causing loot drama everywhere you go? I don't think that kind of person enjoy playing mmo anymore.

If you were playing volleyball for fun, and your teamate sucked, would you leave the match pissed off? I hope not. It's the same here.
