This char was a mule that held Elshimo coconuts for my crafting.. obviously the best name for it was Iholdchubbsnuts, which got gm'd, so i changed it to Loloetc. Then chubbs got banned :<

Also- No thats not chiz, hes been an ls mule for about 3 years now. Chiz hasnt played for about a year and a half.

With finals next week I've found a great way to not go insane from all the reading I have left is to camp some of the new Timed Spawn NM's. Anyways, went 1/2 on Virtuoso belt today. Second kill a THF actually claimed and started kiting it all over the map. He told me he already had the belt and was waiting for a friend to arrive. Naturally I was happy to see it go yellow and managed to Chi Blast it. However, it didn't want to turn red for me and the THF regained claim. Next thing I know the THF is dead and I kill it and get the drop.

Technically since the THF had hit it I believe it had TH4 on it even though I killed it solo as MNK/THF.

Granted my THF is only 37 so I really can't claim to be an expert on TH based on direct experience, but I was under the impression that TH does in fact remain active even with the THF being killed. Additionally, while it is no where near a perfect source of information ffxi wiki claims this to be true as well. Of course I wouldn't be suprised at all if that page is completely off base as well.

1/6, 4 kills ages ago when it was first introduced, 2 today.. TH4 on today's 2, TH3 on 2 of the prior ones, TH1 on the last 2.

Honestly, pellets droprate isn't anywhere near as bad as people act in my experience.. the wiki edits making it sub-1% are both single changes by one person. I'm about 6/90 on the pellets, which isn't a great droprate but it's certainly not anywhere near as bad as people act. Yes, I've considered the possibility I got lucky, but pretty sure my sample size is bigger than most since it's not a very common thing to farm for.

Not totally true. If he hit it with Chi Blast earlier and the THF then reclaimed it and died then TH4 would still be active on the mob seeing as it probably didn't go passive and went after Rakie then yes TH4 is still active.

If the mob had gone idle and passive with no hate on anyone then yes, TH would no longer be active on the mob.
