Prices are going to get a lot better than that; I got a 50" Samsung TOC650 1080p plasma for $800 a few weeks ago at Sears.

Looks like I have to wait....

The question to ponder is:

Fall for the black Friday marketing ploy?

Or wait until after Christmas when they're trying to get rid of stock? Supposedly with the recession in the U.S., stores aren't going to be stocking as heavily this year around, but I've always found my best sales after Christmas.

Every year I keep telling myself I'll buy a new TV and/or monitor, but eh, both of them seem to work well enough for the time being.
