New character limitations

Hey, I'm thinking of making a new account since I quit and gave away all my stuff a couple-three months ago. In the interests of doing things "right" for once, I figured I'd pick up some form of crafting.

Now, I know I have to wait 90 days (stupid) for gardening, and fishing gives a hard cap of 10 fish a day for your first two conquest tallies (double stupid). What I want to know is if there are any restrictions on straight-up crafting or the gathering professions, like clamming or logging or whatev. Poking around on wikis hasn't revealed much, but I don't want to end up farming Ft. Ghelsba for gil. Actually did that in 2005, don't wanna do it again. Thanks :]

Fishing is also limited to 10ish a day for any character under 20 I think.

Not sure of anything else.

mining in many areas is lvl 20+ now I think.

as for crafting, not that I know of just the crap you use to do lvl 1 on mules and what not seems to have been gimped for people making tons of free mules(rmt mostly)

I actually did the same and rerolled for fun till 14 comes out. I can tell you at least, I started by making some gil harvesting red moko grass in west sarutabaruta, and there didn't seem to be any limit on it.

I think its almsot only mining and where salv body ore comes from. You know the zone Cerb pops? To lazy to look it up but RMT was pos hacking the points under the ground and what not lol

ya I can imagine, no one harvests so they probably wouldn't put restrictions on that, or logging for that matter.
