Thread: 11/18/09 Server Maintenance & 1.5.1 Patch    

Bit late but..

We are bringing the Aion servers down at 3:30 a.m. PST, November 18, 2009 (more) for scheduled maintenance and the implementation of the 1.5.1 game update.

The maintenance is estimated to take no longer than 4 hours.

While there's no solid info about what this patch is bringing, other than a slight buff to XP in groups with large level gaps and a larger XP bump for quests, the rest is unconfirmed. Some of that info can be found here and here.

Oh.. right.. there's also this thread that I totally missed.

I'm sure they'll refund the ~11 cents (or Euro equivalent) that you've lost.

Don't want a refund lol. It's now 3 hours longer than maint should be, and now it's EU primetime. But I understand that it's fine because you can get on NA Aion servers so I shouldn't be annoyed in the slightest, should I?

such major fail at not even communicating with us about the maintenance extension. Even SE said thats it was going to be longer when they're maints ran over lol 11am gmt start time and its now 8pm gmt lol so much win

Apparently there's a SERIOUS problem with the chat box that makes you crash every time a Korean extended character is displayed (which happens a lot because the spam bots use them). A temporary solution has been found - turn off every chat channel except legion, alliance and group in ALL your tabs.
