right, no one's saying dogs are more important than humans. but there's something inherently horrifying about preying on a creature that's completely helpless, and even worse, trusts you with its life. even in the video, the dog seems trusting and carefree right up until the guy holds him over the ledge.

It takes way more than this to emotionally affect me (don't flame me, I don't approve this kind of behavor, I just don't find it sad or disturbing as others say) but still... I wonder why he did that.

Even if he wanted some masochistic negative publicity (I really can't see why he would do it otherwise), the "throw a dog off somewhere" tactic has already been expended. He could try at least to be more creative.
