    Dunno. Maybe PSP would be better, since I can't really figure what the second screen would be for on the DS.

    Overworld section would need a good revamp if they did. I'm probably one of the few that preferred the sequel over the original.

    Revamp the game w/ real-time overworld village building, keeping monsters away etc. on the bottom screen for the touch. While on the top screen you play the side-scroller when needed at the same time. Shit would be fun, kinda like the world ends with you in the sense of using both screens at once.

    I think I'm the only RPG nerd alive who couldn't get into Actraiser... would have helped if I played it back when it first came out. I've been spoiled by infinite continues and that sort of shit. I can tell that it's a great game, I just suck too much to enjoy it.

    plus I really don't like the stiff play controls. but I will admit they were probably great for their time.

    I've been waiting for a remake to this for a long time....I don't think they will give us one. I was like 4 when I first played it. It scared the crap out of me at the time, but I somehow beat it. My brother always told me to not touch it, but I did anyway lol. And while on the subject of remakes.... Killer Instinct III anyone?

    I played the first one yesterday instead of doing my homeworks, and ended up beating the whole game in 2h. The overworld stuff was somehow addicting, but the platforming was fucking terrible (by any standard).

    Whaaaaaaaaaaat? This was amazing to me. Maybe it was because I was little. I LOVED both aspects of the game and I was kinda pissed at Actraiser II. Northwall and Marahna. So much fun~

    never was able to get back into this game in recent times, but it was definitely one of my favorites growing up. got this one along with FF2 when we got the SNES for christmas waaay back when.

    i'd be all over an update if it had a revamped sidescrolling/combat component, would be a good fit for a PSN release or somethin' like that.
