Hurray! Someone got it! To warn you, I slightly misquoted it (I downloaded it after reading the first half-page of this thread). The second bucket has 5 gallons, not 7.

I graduated from high school 15 years ago. I only have grade 10 math (I was the Humanities nerd), which I finished two years before graduating. Beyond a tortuous ill-advised macro-economics I took in university, I've not done any serious mathematics for 17 years. On Tuesday I am taking an apptitude test to get into the military (Canadian navy). I'm scared shitless.

You guys all seem to be brilliant mathematicians and I'm sure you all have absolutely brilliant ideas and suggestions on how to prepare for this thing.

Websites? Study guides? Churches to join for prayer?

There is no Pass or Fail for this aptitude test. All it determines is what trade you will be best suited for, and that's what the recruiters will recommend you for. So if you get a "lower" mark, you will be recommended for Cook, Boatswain, or Stewart. Get a higher score, and you can get into the Tech trades which will net you more money. And besides, it really doesn't matter what you join as, you can always change trades if you don't like what you're in.

edit: Oh I forgot, if you score too low, you'll get recommended for the Army (This isn't a joke, a friend of mine from High School, couldn't get into the Navy but got recommended for like 4 Army trades)
