Paul McCartney's new CD/DVD "Good Evening New York City"

Anyone else pick this up yet? Highly recommended if you're a fan of Paul McCartney or the Beatles. It's 33 tracks, 20 of them are Beatles songs (some of the best ones), and the rest are picked from his solo work.

Here's a video from the DVD, this song is actually pretty new - it was on his 2008 album.

I'm amazed the guy can still pull of stuff like Helter Skelter at 67.

You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

Saw him in concert when he was in Dallas. It was unbelievable. He played for like 2h 45m straight with no breaks or intermission. @_@

It is extremely impressive. I don't know how he can do so many songs without taking a break. He puts a lot of energy into a lot of the songs... Jet, I'm Down, Helter Skelter and even stuff like Paperback Writer.

I haven't been to a ton of live shows, but really how many people do what Paul does? 33 songs, lead vocal on all of them, no breaks (unless you count the 20-30 seconds of banter with the audience between songs). I've seen a bunch of "old guys" perform in the past couple of years - Eric Burdon, Jack Bruce, the Allman Brothers, Badfinger, Flo and Eddie (from the Turtles)... they all held their own and sounded amazing, but none did what Paul does.
