I've been messing around with FFXI + steam since I heard about this to see if it was worth getting vs. buying it boxed, D2D, etc. Vanilla POL launcher & game work with steam overlay. Windower POL launcher works with overlay, but when FFXI starts it drops the steam overlay.

At any rate, I thought he meant too little too late as the fact it's been on Steam over a week now and that SE finally got around to announcing it themself on their site.

That's not what I meant, but lol@that too.

They should have done this 4-6 years ago when interest in this game was at it's peak. It's a good idea now, but they could have gotten so much more sales had they done it a while back.
