This one is going to be on sale for $140 on negro friday. Is it worth the price and good in general?

Only iffy thing I can pick out right away is 5ms.

is $130 with MIR on Newegg with the Blackfriday code, though it's only 1680x1050 instead.
My friend recommended this one to me as well
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009163
Which has HDMI as well, which may prove to be useful if I ever buy a ps3 or xbox, as I don't have an HD tv.
Only thing is that it's on regular sale, not black friday/cyber monday and the sale ends on the 23rd.
So do I get this now or wait on friday/monday to see if something better comes up and if nothing comes up better online by friday, then I fallback and buy the monitor in my OP?
Get this:
28", cheap, better quality once adjusted than your typical 22" panel.

HELP ME
I wouldn't go with a no name company unless they had an outstanding warranty/service
This. Except... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824254026 and then make sure to get the bing 10% cash back. Total: ~234
Ok, so I get another shot at this. I am returning the HNC due to dead pixelage. I waited in line for 2hrs this morning so I could exchange it before they had a chance to sell out (just in case) and after waiting in line for 2hrs (plus I had to pay my friend for gas since it's pretty far) this fucker doesn't even let me walk in simply says "no returns till 11 oclock" and doesn't let me go in the store. Just based on that shit I may just say fuck it and get my money back + spend it elsewhere, but in the end I just want the better monitor. So back to the comparison between those 2, anyone? Also, the day I did have the HCG, don't know if it was just my particular one or if its normal but when i was playing ffxi in the background lighting you could see a light black wave traveling vertically across the screen. Would be like that for anything dark, but was absent with light colors.
Is that normal, normal for the cheapo brand, or just a singular defective monitor?
I've got a Hanns-G 28".
I LOVE it. the thing is gigantic, and its awesome for playing games on, 1080p is tittylicious.
Built in speakers are really nice when you're using an HDMI cable to either watch TV/xbox/ps3.
I've also got an Acer 24", which I use as a main monitor instead of the 28", which is strickly gaming/tv/movies. I really like size of the 24", and Acer's brightness seems to get better as you go higher in inches, so I had to go 24" to get the brightness I wanted.
I had never heard of Hanns-G before picking this up, and I actually traded a really nice 22" samsung toa chinese guy for the 28" monitor. He couldn't use it, said it was too big, and I still think it is for a main monitor. But oh my god does it rock as a second.
Either way, I highly endorse both Acer and the Hanns-G as excellent choices. Staples (where I got the Acer) has an excellent return policy regarding dead pixels, and is really competitive when it comes to price.
Good luck in your search!
