I forgot to tell you guys about going off on one of the other leads a bout a week and a half ago and my supervisor made me take off 3 days last week because he said I was overstressed. Note to self, go off on some bitch and update our ticket system with nasty comment, and get a forced vacation.

Akeem caused it again of course. I had a register down for about 2 weeks, getting all kinds of pressure to get it fixed, but software company was dragging ass. I sent out about 20+ emails regarding the status, then akeem enters a ticket for it like it was a new issue. I updated the ticket with "Obviously this machine is down as stated in the updates that get sent out EVERY SINGLE SHIFT" then that caused a big ruckus with his lead then I got called in the office like a kid in school. Shit was so cache.

In fact... almost got fired recently after they started locking shit down up here.
Mostly to do with the fact that I don't have a problem with talking to my bosses any kind of way.

I pulled some shit that I would rather not talk about, but anyway... when they called me in to have a meeting about it and have me sign some bullshit ass papers kinda like an infraction, I came in the office and said "Can I just sign this and get back to work?"
Obviously that rubbed them the wrong way.

Anyway, other stuff was said. My side basically boiled down to "I thought this whole deal was about misuse of company time, so why are we going to waste time talking about this when everyone understands the situation already?"

Yeah that's how I was feeling at the time too, she sent me an email slapping me on the wrist for it, and I wasn't having it, so I replied back with what I thought about it and what I thought about her email. Fucking loling at it now, but goddamn I was so mad, I'm surprised I didn't get written up. They know I got a lot going on at home though.

SOE used to be a really awesome place to work at, but it's definitely turned into a shitty "like I stop becoming a human being when I clock in" mindset of a workplace since around April.

I don't understand the flipping out about using other chat programs while at work. As long as you have your quota and are getting good quality of work done, I don't think it should matter. The whole reason they gave us was that what we do on our screens distracts our coworkers, so we should only be using the computer for work related things. Uh...shouldn't you be punishing the people who do shit work for watching other people's monitors instead of the people who get their work done?
