The worst part of sleep paralysis is the horrible paranoia. Every time I wake up with it, even though I KNOW what is going on because it happens often to me, I still have that awful feeling that there is some shadowy figure right outside my door that is about to open it and torture me while I can't move. It's........yeah. Really shitty way to wake up. Usually can't shake the heebiejeebies until I take my shower and eat breakfast.
Usually I don't remember what I was dreaming later on, but one I can remember for some reason is: I was dreaming about how there were aliens that came to earth, and could take over your body, but only if you opened the box they lived in. There were people going around handing out these boxes in the dream (already possessed of course), but I found out about the aliens by mistake before opening my box and was almost killed in the dream. It was pretty crazy, but not really scary yet. Then some of them caught me and tied me down to a chair and made my hands open a box, and I woke up with sleep paralysis. Probably one of the worst mornings of my life followed, lol
