Btw there is no humor in cheaters getting banned, it's one of the risks they take once they start cheating. You don't see any botters here gloating and saying shit like "yeah! A botter hasn't ruined Aion for me ever. Maybe it's just my server botters were a rare sight before, and even then they were just killing pointless crappy mobs which had no ties to a quest. Maybe the gathering bots will have an effect on people who rely on it to make money, but there are a hundred different ways to make money it hardly matters.

You're extreme case is hardly relevant either. Do you find it enjoyable to go to a prison, then laugh at all the murderers locked up? I never said botting was a good thing, and yes I agree it has a negative impact on the game, but it's barely worth it to go out of your way to laugh at them. You really didn't answer my question either, great I get it you don't like botters. Why go to a forum of theirs and laugh at them?

I guess I should clear up my views on Aion though, I like the game, I just have no motivation to play it properly because endgame from the looks of it looks boring, rewardless and a grind.

Personally I'm glad that botters were banned. I don't think they're bad people for trying to get ahead in a video game, but they ultimately got what they deserved (assuming that they actually did bot/rmt). There isn't any need to gloat to the banned people about it as it doesn't do any good, they got their punishment and hopefully learned their lesson from it. Anytime you engage in actions that violate the agreements, you run the risk of this very thing happening to you. At least in the case of said botters, they only lost a maximum of just over 2 months of "work" and cost of game/fees.

Obviously, some people never fought 10-15 bots for quest mobs, making 10 minute quests, 2 hour quests. But honestly, that's not the part that bothers me most. The fact that you have to cheat in a fucking video game is what disgusts me. Where there is NO real reward and you grief people for nothing other than your own selfish satisfaction. Yes, at least real-life is not fair, so there is some excuse there.

Last statement on this: I would get pleasure from making them feel even more worthless, angry and resentful. Real justice being served, even in such a very, very small way, makes me happy.

Just an observation, but this actually does happen in jails. People who go to jail on charges or rape/sexual assault get the crap beat out of them or even killed, especially if their victims were kids.
