firefox 3.55: mouse cursor disappears

if i leave my mouse cursor hovering over one place on the browser for a couple seconds it will disappear. there's been a few other reports of the same thing and apparently it's popping up more with the latest version of firefox.

i haven't been able to find any fixes or workarounds. anyone have the same problem and was able to fix it? (using win 7 btw)

does it come back when you move it? if it doesnt i wouldnt be too concerned>.>

Have you tried disabling your add-ons? Or starting firefox in safe mode if you have a lot of them? It seems add-ons were the cause of this happening alot.
