Spent 12 hours yesterday with MrSparkles killing ALL of them due to being bored and meh better then waiting 16 minutes. Guess what, not a single pop what so ever.... Was curious on the repop on average for you, not the only time i spent 4plus camping it without a pop.

Longest I waited was the first time, 4 hours, then I had to leave, no pop. 2nd time I came back, killed all again, cause I didn't know which was the PH, poped after 3 hours. 3rd time I kill the PH once and it repoped, came back after a FF window. 4th time, 3 hours killing just the PH until it repoped, this was the next day. So it seems to be at least 3-4 hour repop and a true lottery on the PHer.

Honestly, I'd put the Lyft Voulge NM around a 20% pop rate if you kill the right PH. So 50% pop rate on the real PH, 20% pop rate of the NM from that PH. The benefit of the Lyft Voulge NM is that his PH(s) are on a 5 minute repop time because they're outside in Grauberg. So you're looking at killing ~10 mobs on average, but that only takes about 1.5 hours (~9 min between kills because Wivres have so much freaking HP and often I afk more than 5 minutes).

For something on a 16 minute repop, even with the same statistics it'd take 3 hours on average to get the NM. 12 hours is still pretty insane, but I know I've seen Charybdis go for more than 12 hours without popping even with his window open and only one PH mob.

Well, what I said earlier about Vasiliceratops spawning after the North one only was incorrect, I just saw him spawn after killing the south spawn. He can apparently spawn after either.

I'm less sure wind weather matters now, but I also slightly improved my resist gear. By the way, if you're killing this guy right you could theoretically sub SCH to it because there's no reason he should take a shadow. Utsu wears off twice per fight as RDM/NIN.

Oh yeah, got the drop this time (1/~11?) so I'll try and get some people to help me test it. This GA is interesting because it has the potential to 5-hit.

Took Vidhuwa the Douchenozzle down last night with 8 people, he isn't a friendly mob by any stretch of the imagination. Core party was Drk/Nin X2, Brd/Whm, Whm/Sch, Rdm/Drk, and a Cor/Whm. Add party was a Pld/Nin standing on the sidelines and a token Thf. I'm confident that he could be taken down with as few as five, the core PT minus the Cor, if everyone is on top of their game.

    Couple notes:
Wiki states: "Only TP move it uses is Mind Blast."
This is inaccurate, he will also use Immortal Shield, which cuts nukes quite a bit but does not block stun.

Head Butt won't stun him, learned that last week in our first attempt. Didn't try Blitztrahl or Temporal Shift, their casting time and recast respectively would be too long to use effectively anyway. Use Drk, Blm, or /Drk for stun.

Mind Blast is a pain. Magus Roll Shell 5 and barthundera cut it quite a bit, generally hit ~300. Mind Blast will wipe shadows and inflict a decently strong paralyze, we had bard and cor on paralyna duty and they need to be quick about it, as every time this goes off a tank is pretty much defenseless, and he uses it A LOT. So much in fact that I wonder if he has either a huge Store TP trait, or straight regain, so don't worry about feeding him TP. Also, between barthundera cutting Mind Blast and Drks native resist paralyze trait, the tanks resisted a couple of paralyzes, I don't think the whm was using barparalyze, if she had been I believe we would have seen far more resists.

In hindsight I should have swapped the Pld into core PT for one of the Drks, the lower enmity on the unbuffed Drk would have made his stuns a lot more reliable, we had a couple floodgas go off while one drk was paralyzed and the other was recasting shadows. Again, Magus Roll helped here, Floodga hit around 600-700 compared to the 1K+ of the first time we attempted this NM.

    /Edit:
Forgot to note, no drop. Don't know when I'll be able to drag people back out there, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Would Lyft Voulge be the next best if you dont have Perdu? Thinking of camping it in free time.

Lyft Voulge is a very solid GA that is convenient for getting a 6-hit /NIN with Pizza. It's like a really nice augmented Kheten.

Lyft Lance (+4 STR at least) is solid as well.

I've been trying to get someone to help me test Lyft Voulge, but haven't had much luck.

Also curious if anyone has confirmed that there is a 50% TP bonus.

I just got a Lyft Crossbow and I've been testing it in South Gustaberg using Trueflight.

Trueflight doesn't base damage at all on the weapon DMG, so I'm comparing the Lyft Crossbow with a Rpt. Crossbow. All Trueflights below performed with no gear at 8.0 distance to target, a Lv1 Huge Hornet.

    Rpt 100% TP: 507 dmg
Lyft (Solo) 100% TP: 507 dmg
    Lyft (2PT) 100% TP: 507 dmg
    Lyft (3PT) 100% TP: 512 dmg
    Lyft (4PT) 100% TP: 517 dmg
    Lyft (5PT) 100% TP: 522 dmg
    Lyft (6PT) 100% TP: 527 dmg

    Rpt 150% TP: 531 dmg
Lyft (Solo) 150% TP: 531 dmg
    Lyft (2PT) 150% TP: 531 dmg
    Lyft (3PT) 150% TP: 536 dmg
    Lyft (4PT) 150% TP: 541 dmg
    Lyft (5PT) 150% TP: 546 dmg
    Lyft (6PT) 150% TP: 552 dmg

    Rpt 200% TP: 555 dmg
Lyft (Solo) 200% TP: 555 dmg
    Lyft (2PT) 200% TP: 555 dmg
    Lyft (3PT) 200% TP: 560 dmg
    Lyft (4PT) 200% TP: 566 dmg
    Lyft (5PT) 200% TP: 571 dmg
    Lyft (6PT) 200% TP: 577 dmg

    Rpt 250% TP: 578 dmg
Lyft (Solo) 250% TP: 578 dmg
    Lyft (2PT) 250% TP: 578 dmg
    Lyft (3PT) 250% TP: 583 dmg
    Lyft (4PT) 250% TP: 589 dmg
    Lyft (4PT) 200% TP: 595 dmg
    Lyft (6PT) 200% TP: 601 dmg

    300% TP: 602

So, there is a TP bonus, but it depends on the # of people in your PT and doesn't appear to be exactly 50 with 6 in PT. It's greater than 40 though; for example, a 190% TP Trueflight with Rpt. Crossbow is 550 damage. Later I'll try to crunch some numbers based on these values and see if I can narrow down exactly what it is.

    As for the MND bonus:

    6 in PT: MND+4
    5 in PT: MND+3
    4 in PT: MND+2
    3 in PT: MND+1
    2 in PT: MND+0
    1 in PT: MND+0

So, Lyft Lance gives +1~4 STR with 3-6 people in party.

It apparently has no TP bonus. Got it for a friend today, he Raiden Thrusted two bunnies and did the same damage with 0 and 6 people in party. He's going to check for Jump TP boost next merit party, didn't notice it this time. If it's not that, I'd guess it'd be some wyvern-related thing. Another possibility is that it has 4 STP on it (if all 2H weapons are the same).

Also, idk if this was known before but Lyft Hexagun gives +1~4 AGI. The guy who got it was killing the NM for Evoliths and dropped it before he found out what the second bonus was.

    Edit/Update:
We have verified that the Polearm and Great Axe do not have STP. Turns out that the Polearm's hidden effect is STR+1~4 and Attack+2-8.

I've tested the following things for Great Axe and confirmed they're unchanged--
    * All basic stats (including HP/MP). STR increases 1~4 with number of people in party
    * STP and Delay (Unchanged)

    Untested things:
    * Enmity (+/-)
    * Double Attack
    * A million other things.
I've tried to test TP Bonus, but WAR doesn't have a magic WS so that makes it really hard.

So, figured I'd double post just because people might care about this and it kinda deserves a bump I think.

Lyft Voulge seems to give 4 STR and 8 Acc in a party of 6.

This makes it an attractive GA for /NIN, as it lets you keep your 6-hit by swapping to Aurum Body/Rose Strap/Rajas/Brutal/(Ecphoria or good augmented Atilla's optional but recommended), and does something to compensate for the body Acc loss.

    So Perdu/Pole Strap/Haub +1/Blitz vs. Lyft/Rose/Aurum/Ecphoria

    First is 6 DEX, 6 STR, 21.5 Acc, 26.5 Atk, 1% Haste, 2% DA
Second is 12 STR, 8 DEX, 18 Acc, 24 Attack, Somewhere between 12 and 16% higher WS frequency depending on buffs

Toss some pizza and buffers on that and the second one would pull ahead I think.

Assuming you can't RC, wouldn't fort axe or magian beat this anyways though?

It's probably not an ideal weapon, but it's soloable from a single NM. At the moment I use it to keep a true 6-hit at birds and because it caps my Acc there without Cuchu mantle (no e-body). I alternate between using that and using Gondo-shizunori based on my buffers (Gondo is for 2 BRDs pretty much only in my experience, BRD+COR I go with Lyft still).

For instance, I was just in a SCH, BRD, COR, 3x WAR/SAM birds party where I was tanking quite a bit. In an ideal situation, the melee would be sharing hate evenly, I wouldn't be the only one provoking, one of the WARs would be a 5/5 Haste Samba DNC, the SCH would be a RDM, and the new RDM would refresh me so I can keep the Rune Chopper latent active. I don't know that I've ever gotten that in a pickup party though. Heck, I've seen one 5/5 Haste Samba DNC in a merit party and she full-timed AF1 (no joke). People aren't ideal, party setups aren't always ideal, and my gear isn't ideal.

Lyft Voulge is a strong option all things considered. You trade 7 Attack for 1 base damage, 3 more Acc, and 10 more delay (with a built in true 6-hit) compared to Perdu. It deserves to remain on the table for when less-than-ideal situations call for it.

Edit: Oh, and yeah the new OAT GA would beat it pretty hard I think.

Double Edit!: And the Lyft Lance is still better than all AH Lance options, even including 99% of Fay Lances. At a glance, only Relic, Magian polearms unknown, V-fork, and pro-evoliths on a Sarissa are better than it.
D94, STR+4 (so D95 effectively from fSTR with another extra 1-2 base damage on Drakes from STR50%), and Atk+8 (Atk+11 total)  That's pretty comparable to the D97 Magian lance.
