Tsola do something that gives you a buff, like protect or a bard song and see if your bonuses appear. that is what i had to do.

Someone else said .75, I'd rather just keep it at +1 str for every member after 2.
Tried that, still no stat buffs. Definitely doesn't give hMP. Didn't give any +skill(enfeeb/element/whatever). No cure potency either.
Tried switching from RDM to WHM to see if that did anything, and still gave nothing. Guess it is probably something like conserve MP/macc/mab, if anything at all.
Apparently, The Lyft Items are all for the Evolith System, according to my Japanese friend. APparently there is a post on Alla about it, about to check it out now.
EDIT: The Alla link isn't working, and my friend is afk, Ill update when I get more information
No one on Zam has said that the Lyft Weapons have any concrete connection to the Synergy/Evolith systems at all. It was just speculated when the .dats were first mined that it's possible that they had some connection to Synergy/Evolith, but as said, that was little more than early speculation.
How about waiting until you have said proof before you place foots into moufs.
unshomaru VS hagun math:
assuming unsho (full pt) 50%tp bonus str+4
100%TP 200%TP 300%TP
1.5625 1.875 2.50
Level @
Lv75... 0.83
STR:75%
( D + fSTR + WSC) * fTP
50%tp bonus=>1.71875
x=fstr(h)+wsc(h)
hagun: (75+x)*1.875=140.625+1.875x
fstr(u)=fstr(h)+1* (cap or uncap cause unsho higher rank)
wsc(u)=wsc(h)+4*.75*.83=wsc(h)+2.49=>+2
(81+x+1+2)*1.71875=144.375+1.71875x
diff:
144+1.71875x>140+1.875x
4>015625x
25.6>x
70STR, lower fstrcap(-8)
x=70*.75*.83-8=43-8=35>25.6
hagun always win
* lower cap fstr(u) <fstr(h) (forgot the - wepon rank....) but just increase the diff
( D + fSTR + WSC) * fTP base damage formula for WS (check wiki if you dont understand this)
fstr(h)= your fstr with hagun; wsc(h) your weapon skill modifier with hagun
fstr(u)= your fstr with unshomaru; wsc(u) your weapon skill modifier with unshomaru
math with gekko wsc/ftp data from wiki
Hmm... so it looks like any potential Hagun-beater will rely on Unshomaru being upgradable using the new Evolith system (assuming this the new system is what these weapons are intended for, which might not be true).
If so, though... I'll bet that the end result will be a weapon that, using the best available Evoliths, will be slightly better than a Hagun, but only on certain types of targets.
you also have to assume the GK gives str+ and tp bonus lol
Please correct me if I am wrong on the math it is still early for me. I am going to commit a cardinal sin and use Colibri mainly because I can't remember offhand other VIT values of mobs. Going to leave pDIF out of the equation even though the Unshomaru would add 3 attack.
Gekko TP modifiers
100%TP 200%TP 300%TP
1.5625 1.875 2.50
Assuming that the 50% TP mod on Unshomaru is simply +50% tp just like Hagun is +100%, then:
1.875 - 1.5625 = 0.3125
0.3125 / 100 = 0.003125.
So every 1% Tp over 100 adds 0.003125.
Multiply that by 50 to get 0.15625
Add that to the TP value at 100% 1.5625 + 0.15625 = 1.71875 for 100%
Stats:
Lets Assume a player has 120 STR for Gekko
Player = 120 STR
Greater Colibri = 67 VIT
Hagun: DMG 75 TP@100 = 1.875
Unshomaru: DMG 81 +4 STR TP@100 = 1.71875
Hagun
fstr cap = 75/9 +8 = 16
fstr = (STR-VIT + 4) / 4
(120 - 67 + 4) / 4 = 14.25 or 14 fstr
( D + fSTR + WSC) * fTP
(75 + 14 + (120*.75 * .83)) * 1.875
(89 + 74.7)*1.875 = 306.93
Hagun = 306.93 damage before pDIF and Overwhelm merits
Unshomaru
fstr cap = 81/9 +8 = 17
fstr = (STR-VIT + 4) / 4
(120+ (4str) - 67 + 4) / 4 = 15.25 or 15 fstr
( D + fSTR + WSC) * fTP
(81 + 15 + (124*.75 * .83)) * 1.71875
(96 + 77.19)*1.71875 = 297.67
Unshomaru = 297.67 damage before pDIF and Overwhelm merits
To summarize:
Hagun: 306.93
Unshomaru: 297.67
Roughly a 3.1% difference between the two. The Unshomaru would need to get augmented with an evolith with at least +3% weaponskill damage to be lined up with Hagun at 100% TP.
In my opinion it isn't a bad weapon at all. Has higher damage than Hagun for Rana to use where pdif is naturally near or at the cap, and has a TP bonus to use in conjunction with Gekko where you rely on the pdif modifier of Gekko against mobs with higher defense. It's a good weapon that can suit both weaponskills, but of course there is always a better weapon for each situation (Hagun for high Def mobs, and any GK with high Base DMG for Rana to be used against very low defense mobs)
My JP frend said they lock AVs two hours and Meteor but not Aeroga
And AV applies to this... how...?![]()
