Is it just autism in general that's blacklisted, or the whole spectrum of autism including the crap that you wouldn't even notice in an otherwise mentally healthy person?
I scored a 12.
Either way, it explains a lot, especially to those who have known me for years.
This guy, Cliff, friend of mine for the last 12 or 13 years. He is the only person I've ever met who I was able to tell what was going on in their mind.
We seem to have been issued two nearly identical brains, only where I am barely functional socially, he is incredibly good at it. I once saw him convince a girl to trade her shirt for him letting her back in the house, then trade her bra for her shirt.
So yeah, I mentioned that I was suspecting it to him, showed him the criteria and such.

Yes, I do little but wank about my childhood, thank you for pointing that out, I am indebted to you for your astute observations.
The thread wasn't intended for the argument it devolved into, it was pure curiosity that killed the cat in this case. Nonetheless, I can't just let an argument drop if it's being pressed on a false assumption, it nags at me in the back of my head til I go work on it again.
Anyways, the biggest thing was just that I've noticed a lot of "wtf is wrong with you" type of reactions on here from certain folks, figured I'd try to help them understand if they felt like it once the thread devolved into that argument.
Oh, and to confirm that you can call me a retard.![]()

As far as I know, it's all part of the broad category of psychological disorders that causes children to be smart yet socially withdrawn, awkward around their peers, and have a difficult time fitting in, isn't it?
Got 11
Oh and I worked with someone for a year that had very bad Asperger\'s Syndrome, he thought he was highly intelligent and could be in MENSA but he was a fucking retard for lack of a better term. I could tell him 3x in a row exactly how to do things and he\'d forget within an hour because he spent all his time thinking about stupid and pointless situations.

Nice to know I may get denied insurance, knowing that I'm a healthy and stable 22 year old with low blood pressure who does no drugs, booze (only had rum once in my life, and that was it), just because I've been diagnosed with a mild 'disorder' that I've been actively working on overcoming.
That's how it is for me, no idea about others.
I said ME, I know that people who understand what it is will recognize the difference, and that people who just like bitching at me will go "we could already, you tard!"
So hey, why not, plus I follow the Boondocks school of thought, overuse of a word like that reduces it's value.
Not really a "Boondocks School" of thought, Linguists have been saying that for nearly 100 years, and we have like 4000 case studies about different words and usage patterns.
Of course no matter how many people agree, how many phds you get to back you up on such a simple notion, people will vehemently say it's "wrong" and "can't be true"(hi miz!, remember that?), because as a society we've been conditioned to react like that...even if that reaction is in-fact the biggest problem in and of itself.
tl;dr sup my niggaz.
