MAG beta keys

This game looks so much better then MWF2 right now. Not sure if this or BF will be better. Does MAG have vehicles? I thought I read something on that before.

Yes it does have vehicles, all of which can be destroyed!

Can't wait to play later or today. Figures I have my kids first orchestra concert this evening. Ah well~

So I never got to play this, but how did the servers handle all the players online? I had heard that the gameplay sucked balls though. It was slow and had some quirky controls. Is any of that being address for release? Were they even really issues?

While playing the open beta, I only ran into lag/glitching once in the game, and that was more of an issue where everything would keep resetting then anything else, and was completely server side so everyone playing experienced it. Otherwise the game ran completely smooth. As for gameplay, to me it seemed like every other FPS out there with no real problems or trouble. Bein that the controls are customizable, with a ton of preset options for different playstyles I didn't really see them as being a problem. In fact the only "real" complaints I heard about were LMG being too strong and not being able to knife people while you were reloading, both of which were addressed already at launch, as well as any of the graphical/sound issues people complained about.

I'm hopefully gonna pick this game up tonight and grab a mic (finally) while I get it. The beta ended right before I had a chance to try out Domination so I've been wanting to get another shot at it for a good 3 weeks now.

Played the last beta, all I can say is I loved it once I got the hang of the idea that of what you're suppose to do. I think what got me hooked was domination more than anything really. If only a few of my friends online gave this game a chance, they'd see the real deal behind it. I also ran into a lot of people not realizing you can go to Domination at level 10 and some did but didn't understand what they needed to do because of the chaos that's happening. I'm going SVER since I love the whole idea behind it. that and my friend in RL is going to SVER.

So how is this in comparison to MWF2 for people that have played both. I tended to try to play MWF2 as a tactical shooter which resulted in me dieing 90% of the time because it was more focused around run and gun, or camp. Is this game a little slower paced or do you still tend to run out a door into a hail of bullets coming from the other team? I heard the maps were pretty expansive, are they Battlefield-esque huge or just slightly larger then MWF2?

I can't answer the first part because I haven't played MW2 yet somehow, but the map size really depends on the game type. In Domination (the 256 player game) the maps stretched out a good distance in 4 different directions. In contrast, Sabotage maps tended to be small, and were more susceptible to camping and such because of the limited routes people can take to an objective

Tried to log on and it says the game is offline. They're doing a serverside patch and will not let any new players back on, should be back up by 7PST

Make sure to post impressions and some screenshots when you guys get going. I'm interested in this, but horribly regret throwing money down on MWF2 so I want to make sure this is something worth buying ._.

There are screenshots and gameplay vids already out there on the internet. Yes it is a lot slower paced compared to MW2, as this relies more on teamwork and strategy. MAG is pretty much a FPS Socom with larger scale maps and a lot more people.
