It's pretty much natural progression. I mean the only other option would have been to kill her...which is still possible lol

Either way, I figured it would be one of two things but I was still surprised it happened oddly enough. Was a nice moment, especially seeing Jack be actually human.

When you consider jack is in his seventies, any relationship he has is gonna be a little weird.

They both don't have a home.

Jack is trapped in the future. We don't know if he'll get to go home or if he'll just kill Aku here and have to live in the future; but Ashi will fit in w/ him both ways.

Ashi is also an outcast. She was raised in a cave, not allowed to go outside. Had to devote her life to her training w/ the only people she'd ever even interacted w/ being her mom, sisters/cult members. She has nowhere to go after this and is dumb to the ways of the world (didn't even know that being naked was weird)

Whether he stays or goes back to the past, no reason for Ashi not to go with him. And after all this bullshit and all these years, finally gives Jack the happy ending he'll deserve with starting a family of his own

There's still time for that.

I mean, if he successfully gets back to the past and does the job, he'll effectively undo everything yet to come... especially Ashi and her sisters.

I could've seen it going the route where she's into him but he doesn't see her that way, but yeah, this was the most likely case by a pretty wide margin.

I wasn't sure at the start, but once I saw the Male/Female Deer and The little puffball from Jack’s hallucination says, “What did you expect, a hug and a kiss?”. I knew it was a romantic build up. Jack has always shown to be a straight character, never even hinting at the fact that he may be gay or Asexual. He has shown interest in a few female characters before, even a female Aku tricking Jack.

Idk. Jack I'd say is mid 20's from his training montages to when he was ready to fight Aku/got flung into the future.

If they're going this route w/ it, I'm going to assume she's at least 18
