do you think you will realistically ever be that good?
do you think you will realistically ever be that good?
yes
The million dollar answer because if you are that good and have good enough people, you may indeed make a million dollars.
yes, being an advanced player is not difficult, it just takes a long time. it's a lot like hitting level 75 on a job except the grind sucks a lot more and the gameplay engine is only 13 buttons.
will i ever compose music that as many people enjoy as he does? maybe, maybe not. not really playing at this point for other people. the reason i admire that guy is knowing that when he sits down to improv or play with new gear, he has at least 500x my knowledge to play around with. he gets to have way more fun than me.
he's born in 73. I have plenty of time to catch up. More importantly, i have the internet. he didn't. i have thousands of YT videos, over 100 guitar related bookmarks, access to more players my age/style, and can find almost anything i want to listen to, not to mention thousands of tabs, AND an actual guitar instructor (irl).
It's not like im going to just slow down and stop getting better tomorrow or any time soon. With guitar, you learn faster the faster you learn. That may sound stupid, but once you start learning more, you start playing more, making you learn more, making you play more, making you learn more. A lot of people lose it with guitar in the first few months because they cant do what they want musically instantly.
bump for this nerd whos pretty awesome as well
still learning city lights. i have 2 amp settings instead of a clean channel+d pedal, so i cant play it through seamlessly until i clear that up. trying to figure out a comfortable pick hold for the transition from fingerpicking but its just not cozy at all.
I got one for you Zal hold up let me find it.
pretty nice btw, little too "shreddy" for me but none the less he's pretty good.
Vastly different style, but this Sol Philcox kid is going to be fucking ridiculous when he gets older. He's already gotten to play with Brent Mason on stage, who is a chicken picking legend.
Wouldn't mind having this fucking 52 Tele either:

good that he's getting his experience while he's still in high school, gonna make the rest of his life much easier.
i really do love the tone on the chorus melody of syncronicity. i seriously need like 200k just to spend on amps and pedals and different pickup configs so i can stay indoors for a whole year just playing with tones 8 hours a day
also check this shit day. i have 2 finals tomorrow, both of which i have covered np, i already have A's in both classes.
i have all day, which means until about midnight, to do nothing but play guitar and eat. no work, no midweek social obligations, no classes. its raining like shit outside too so i get to life the blinds in the back and play while it rains. today is beautiful.
and i should also mention that i still have at least a gram and a half of purple left. cant hit it too fast or im just going to fall asleep cause this shit always makes me tired
man i'm about to have a very similar day on thursday, got some decent green, looking forward to rocking out. bout to order mxr dynacomp and carbon copy today I think with my xmas bonus.
all of my money is going towards a custom when the agile custom shop reopens in jan
