It's pointless to argue about something being "fully blue" or "fully purple", for that matter. If it were purple, it wouldn't be "fully purple", and as blue, it's not R:0 G:0 B:255 either. It's not "fully blue", but it is a desaturated shade of blue, close to a slate blue. It's the desaturation that's probably confusing people, tricking their eyes into thinking they're seeing purple.

And if you don't care, then why ask for proof? If you want proof, it's in the first thread. If you don't care, then don't ask for it.
