What's this movie? SOLVED

I can't remember what movie this is from and I only have one little scrap of info so I call upon spam

All I remember is there's a character who is a big actor/producer, and I think he's kind of a parody of Steven Seagal. He has all this Asian stuff in his office and he wears a kimono. At one point he's on the phone and he goes on all enamored by the fact that it's already tomorrow in Japan and that they're "in the future" or something like that.
