Can't really afford to try this but Brew Dog do make some tasty beer. Tried Punk IPA, Riptide stout and Dogma ale so far, all went down nicely and cheapish too at £1 a bottle :>
Victory Golden Monkey is delicious at 9.5%. Yum.
Bumped because I had this tonight, friend of mine bought two bottles, we split one across the 6 people attending.

I wasn't a big fan, it was dominated by smoky wood flavors to the point where it was just blowing out everything else. It had an almost creamy texture if you could feel it through the alcohol. More of a gimmick than anything else, it might be able to be done well though.
It did taste like beer.
haha nice
Beer out of a wine glass....
Yeah, I was gunna say something about that. But I guess since he was drinking it like a wine then it's alright. Can't really think of the right kind of beer glass that you would use for 3 shots of beer

You would think there would be more of those here in NC, but I guess all he rednecks are satisfied with the piss-water $4 6-packs

We were drinking about 2 ounces a piece, it's not like it would matter if it was from a pint glass or something.
Plenty of "beer glasses" are roughly the same shape as wine glasses anyway.

And yeah, we drank it "like a wine" - analyzed the nose, texture, color, finish, etc. I'll post the writeup when Jason finishes it next week (they're drinking the other bottle this coming weekend with some other people).
i have that same ring. makes me feel like an alcoholic
