    Music recording program

    I am looking for Music recording/editing program, autotune etc, i'm new to this so any suggestions for Windows?

    audacity is free, but probably doesnt have all the features you want

    im blanking on names of other things right now, but will try to post some in the morning when im not dead tired>.>

    yea, I've heard Audacity has good quality output. my parents use sony soundforge for their editing stuff.

    There are like commercial quality DAWs (Digital Audio Workstation) that are the equivalent of Photoshop you can use, but there's also lesser-known, more affordable (if you're into paying for things!) alternatives. One such program is Reaper, which is fairly popular and is user-friendly: http://www.reaper.fm/

    As far as popular super expensive software there's Sonar, Pro Tools, Logic, Sony's Acid, and I guess Ableton for any weirdos who use that.

    All of the programs, including Audacity, utilize VST/plugins which is where you get a lot of the audio effects like autotune, so any and all should work for you in that regard.
