Maybe. Wouldn't have enjoyed it on that Valkyrie server regardless because of the ridiculous amounts of lag. Was also way too grindy. Private servers fix that though I guess.

Yeah, we tried that... that's the experience she has had with the game and thus I can kind of understand why she doesn't think much of the game.

I played the RO beta, or was it alpha I don't remember, a long time ago before it went pay to play and enjoyed the shit out of that.

Music was great and so were some of the areas. Gameplay was just uninteresting though, I don't see how I'd find that any interesting on a less laggy server, although WoE/PvP and shit does sound much more interesting.

Didn't we get to like Lv4X or some shit? Didn't even get to check out most of what the game has to offer as far as abilities and shit are concerened.
Just like every MMO ever, the way the game plays is very different at low level than it is at high levels.

Seriously.

You haven't experienced enough of the game to make any real judgements on it.

Sounds about right. And having to grind forever before the game becomes actually worth playing is not my idea of a "good game". There's plenty of MMO's who manage to make it interesting before all the cool shit later on comes into play.

Are you kidding me?

Even on a 1x server you can get high enough level to jump into endgame content in a matter of weeks. (I'm not even talking hardcore play, I'm talking a few hours a day.)

If you want to call RO a grind, trust me... you won't be talking about level grinding.
That part is easy, getting your upgraded gear with all the best cards and shit like that is far more of a grind but at least you have fun along the way.
