Level cap on Eltnen Rifts?

yeah I know trich .. that rng got me once... and there was a ranger lvl 50 about a week ago .. hence why I started this thread. That and the RNG glitches really piss me off .. remove the glitches and see how good they are in PVP. Syntex ... what was the SM rift glitch you mentioned?

Level 45 is really fucking high for Eltnen/Morheim. Frustrating.

Have a SM summon you who is under 45.

While you have the box to accept summon up(for its 30 seconds) he zones to eltnen.

When he is loaded in eltnen before the box closes, accept.

One of 3 things will happen, it will either summon you to where the summoner was when the spell was cast, summon you to the other side of the rift, or not do anything and/or give you an error message.

AFAIK the correct zone check in the scripting is checked before you cast the spell, hence when you try to summon someone in another zone it says you can't and you wont even get a cast bar.

If the game doesn't do another check which I suspect it wont then you have only the actual porting to do which has already had all its checks done and will port you to the side of the SM even if he is in a different zone.

Wouldn't the SM being in enemy territory while you in friendly technically be considered different zones on that check? Or would the game consider both the same? Honestly can't say I've had a SM summon me anywhere yet.

He means that SM uses summon when in zone with you, and before you accept he rifts to Elthen.

the way the teleport part of res loci works is that it teleports you to where the cleric was when they cast the spell. I assume it works similarly for SM.

Speaking of the SM summon, I was wondering if this would work. Would be nice to know before I tried it. I plan on lvling my temp to 45 and stopping for a bit. Then, level a SM on my GFs account solely for using summon. Once she hits 25, use that quest to get her to that high ledge in morheim (elyos ftw) and keeping her there. Now, when I rift to morheim on my 40-45 temp .. shouldn't she be able to summon me to her as long as we are in the same zone?

Finally finished that damn fake stigma spy quest last week long after dinging 50, so yes, it's possible if you just wait to do the Sonirim quest. Actually you could probably go twice if you wanted. I just stealthed through Morheim though, because ganking people 30 levels below yourself is faggotry.

Level 50 ranger with a level 41 ranger in Eltnen. Seriously? He had a few others with him, but being 15 levels lower I didn't get a chance to see. That shit is infuriating.
