I'd have to say one of my favorite scenes was watching ScarJo walk up the stairs near the end at the StarkExpo. I think I was briefly hypnotized. Gwyneth isn't bad by any means, but in scenes with ScarJo she's an afterthought... lol

I checked the wiki and I'm not sure I get the joke. Did the guy mean to say The Odyssey or something?

I think it was cool watching Iron Man come to life in the first one, but the action sequences in IR2 were awesome. Plus RDJ is hilarious. I don't know much about Tony Stark, but I didn't think he was a goofball like in the movies.

    Also,
    Spoiler: show
the Captain America shield when he was making the new reactor was funny. Only a few people got the joke when I saw it.

I liked how they picked up after the first movie, rather than a totally different storyline.

i went and saw this again, and when the after-end clip played, some dude stood up and threw his fists into the air and yelled

    THOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

and had the entire theater rolling. made the movie that much better.

It's a reference to this. It's a well known book for the fact that's it's very long with unique sentence structuring and writing method.

Ulysses is a novel by James Joyce. It is notoriously complex (towards the end each chapter is written in a different style and perspective), and the story is set up to be a parallel the Odyssey

When I saw it at the midnight showing, there was a lot of whispering and exclamations during

    Spoiler: show

the scene where he uses Captain America's shield as leverage, and the after-the-credits scene with the hammer.

When I saw it again on Saturday, nobody even batted an eye at the first scene, and only 5 people stayed for the after-the-credits scene.

I got all that (I checked the wiki, after all). I just thought that maybe Hammer's comment about it being written in crayon had some significance and that he was wooshing himself or something. I guess it's just a different brand of humor than... well, the funny kind.

It's basically just saying it was so smart that it would write things that made Ulysses seem like it was made by a kid. I didn't think it like an amazing joke either, but it's more of a clever simile (or whatever it is)

Eh, Hammer's bound to be an unfunny dipshit, he's the polar opposite of Stark.
    Spoiler: show
It really annoyed me when he was going over the weapons with Rhodes and the other guy. "Oh hay, just telling some airforce dudes what a minigun is". They did well with that character. ;p

I don't know if I said this in the first movie thread, but I find Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts super hot in these movies.

I thought she looked really good next to Scarlett Johannsen. Next to Paltrow, Johannsen looked really short and kinda thick, lol.
