Also, I hate Scarlett Johanson with a fiery passion, but she was surprisingly tolerable in this movie. I liked that they managed to present her fight scenes as badass without getting that feeling like they were trying too hard with her.

And yeah. I had to pee SO BAD OMG while waiting for the after-the-credits scene.

Amazing show, funny had this 500 lb guy in front who would giggle every time something cool happened. When that thing happened after the credits, he got up and applauded.... was awesome.

It was good, but again 1st was better. Really the reason is its not "new" if this came out 1st maybe it be the otherway around.

Saw it tonight and really liked it -- that said, I also read comic books as a kid and know the back story, about the Avengers, etc. Some of my friends who don't fall into that boat felt there were too many things added to make it fit into a universe that has nothing else currently to support it. Also, was pretty surprised at how much time Nick Fury had. Anyone who didn't watch the scene at the end of the first movie would have no idea what was going on or how Stark and Fury knew each other.

the extra after the movie was just pure meh to me, instead of last time making it more epic than the movie imo

movie was really good though. my friends and i were making loud jokes throughout the entire movie because of this fatass who kept making loud comments, had the entire theater laughing at him

Solid movie. Enjoyed it.

Don Cheadle didn't bring much to the role... though he has proven himself a better actor in many other movies.

I was hoping Whiplash had more awesome scenes overall.
Supporting cast along with Downey... good overall.

Best part of the movie was simply how spot on the War Machine armor looked. I enjoyed the whole thing but they fucking nailed how War Machine looks and fights.

instead of blood poisoning just have the reason for Tony's absence be an accident or near accident caused by his alcoholism forcing him to refuse to touch the suit

The drunk fight was done on purpose, to get Rhoades to take the suit without suspicion of Stark's condition.

I felt that Scarlet's entire character and the plot involving her were completely and absolutely unnecessary. There was no reason to include her in the film at all. What'd she do? make comments to Stark? Pretty sure Pepper did a fine job of that in the 1st movie.
Oh! but she went into the Hammer guy's headquarters and beat up some people so she could find the Russian guy and stop him. Wait... the Russian guy wasn't even there, so there was no point in going in there in the 1st place.

This wont be the first time you see Tony drunk and in the ironman suit. Funny thing is he gets drunk and fights a villain almost killing the villain and a little kid iirc. After that he doesn't touch the suit for awhile. Tony said that Alcoholism is one of his worst enemies. Tru dat.

The whole drinking thing was that they wanted to allude to the old Demon in a Bottle storyline, but not make it the focus. Course it's a little backwards with Stane already being out of the plot.

I'm assuming Scarlet's gonna continue to be in the Avenger's movies, and this was a way to introduce the character without having to do a full movie about Black Widow. Also for the eye candy of course. Actually, did they ever call her Black Widow in the movie...?
