    Yea, same here. When I called them up during PC downtime, I found out the account got banned, not sure what for though. Most likely botting though. I pretty much gave up on trying to get it back, it's been 8 months now so whatever. I'll just wait for 14 to come out. Sucks that they got my Master Account as well as the Aion account somehow, lost both Aion and the CoH/V I had on it. Meh.

    Wow... I sent the ticket asking for items and my account ends up banned. I didn't even get any mail stating why. I had to send all my info (cd-keys, date of birth etc.) like 3 times because 3 different GMs bounced me to someone sitting higher, and today I wake up to find the account banned. Awesome stuff.

    NCsoft Account Fraud Notice Of Termination

    Dear aion player, your account due to suspected fraud. Will be banned within 72 hours. Fraud Evidence: many times using the game chat function induced to provide the game to deceive the other players offer accounts and passwords.

    If you do not fraud, as soon as possible to verify you account login <http:some official looking site I'm not going to>

    Same way my yahoo account gets WoW mails even though it's never been associated with Blizzard, I'm sure.

    Did you sign up for Aionsource.com or any other Aion related fan site? AS's database got hacked a couple months back and they got a list of everybody's emails who signed up and have been spamming the crap out of them with Aion and WoW phishing emails ever since.

    I usually use a yahoo account for forums but I could have put the main in there. That's probably it.

    well I played Aion for a while and damn so many of these kind of threads all over the place. NCSoft are doing what SE did at the beginning of the hackings saying if your comp got compromised its not our problem. Then they turned that around and started giving accounts back BUT heres the kicker anything that was done on your account during the time it was hacked = your problem and accounts get hit with the ban hammer for RMT activities during the time it was hacked and then they don't give it back.

    Um... dunno where you got your info from... but they were never as bad as SE was at first. And ppl get their accounts back and they get their gear / items back. Its a simple rollback to the time in question before the hack happened. And from reports of all the ppl who got hacked, they get their character restored in about 2 weeks

    I'm pretty sure that email is a scam to get your info Tomk. Saw them talking about that or something similar on Aionsource. If I'm not mistaken, the URL ends in something strange like nl or pl or something. Also, I don't think NC warns you 72 hours in advance that you're going to get banned, you just get banned.
