I don't think you can really take that news report at face value, I mean they didn't even bother to research the frequency of occurances of people driving to people's houses and beating there asses, or how even how many dawgs have been gotten at
X gone give it to ya.
come say that to my face and see what happens
Except you, I didn't know you were from the Chi town burbs, sorry, please forgive me.
Actually I believe you have it backwards, you're stuck in a "violent knife a bitch" gang mentality, when the reality of social mechanics is that any gathering of human beings in some form of organization is a "gang"... and the same mechanics apply. Just like anything it exists on a continuum.
I mean...there's countless examples of "teams" who "take it too far"...they're just violent gangs with a different name. "Gang Mechanics" doesn't apply exclusively to violent street gangs.
Only pussies roll with a gang. I take on the world ALL BY MYSELF!
What does the study say is similar between the two? If it's just "hay, they both exhibit groupthink psychology commonly found in groups" then yeah, no fucking shit.
Vatos Locos 4 evah!
Ya, there was this korean gang that used to shank people for ingame gold and items in Lineage II at internert palors.
Except the "study" was saying that the link between violent street gangs and MMO guilds is that people from all walks of life gather together to achieve a common goal. They're saying that street gangs and MMO guilds are a like because they let anyone join as long as they want the same thing. Which is just like every other social group, company or team out there.
You can't even call this news. It's just some scientist looking to get his theory into the limelight by making a radical and semi-baseless claim. It's like it was written by a shock-jock of the science world, just sayin crap to get people all riled up.
Ty Quartz. Fuck all you other bitches.
well makes sense that it works off the same principal as one another. could argue that they're not exactly the same, but oh well
What Jeuno zone ya be reppin'?
port jeuno fo life! got to go with the boats lol
Jack Thompson took up psychology?
Blood in, blood out? In my FFXI? More likely than you think.
If "Blood In, Blood Out" were a Mid-90's rapper, It's name would be "Sir-Shanks-Alot"
