Regarding headsets for the 360.

Pardon me if this was already answered...already did a search couldn't find anything?

I bought the Turtle x31 for the 360, but having issues with the jack on the headset being too loose and the cable keeps falling out when I move..and yeah there were echoes and snapping sounds. I read on their forums saying that the cause might be the cable, which it seems to be the case...but I guess I'm just a little disappointed that I paid 100 bucks for it and it's not working the way it should be right out of the box.

Any suggestions as to which other headsets would be a better option? I've already exchanged the headset once...planning on returning it again later today. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

if the cable keeps falling out when you move, the loose connection there could be making the popping and snapping sounds. have you tried to put it into a different controller?

as far as other headsets, i'm fine with the regular xbox live one, but i don't play for hours at a time to where it gets uncomfortable. so no real help there :/

I've got the one that came with the halo xbox man that hurts after a few hrs been thinking about getting a new one but im cheep lol

I swapped out the x31 for Tritton AX720. It's not bad but I haven't tested out the mic yet.

I rock the $50 Turtle Beach EarForceX1 and I love it, xD. If you're careful the cord shouldn't even be a problem. I've only had to replace the dongle part for the 360 controller ($5) and it's partially because I use the hell out of it lol. <3 it
