Deion was the best 49ers receiver ever.

Dana Stubblefield was the boss! I used to love me some William Floyd, he was the first fullback who I was like "FUCK YEAH" about. I hated the hell out of JJ Stokes overrated ass. I remember him being compared to HoF receivers when he was coming out of UCLA. Now all he's famous for his spitting in the face of Bill Homonowski, which in my opinion was a great thing to do.
Garrison Hearst was trash (lolGeorgia) and I didnt care for Tyronne Drakeford either. But I will admit, I loved the fuck out of TO when he shitted on Dallas' star when the Niners where whipping that ass lol. I wish I had "umad" memes when George Teague got mad and tried to tackle him off of the star.
Oh man, good times.
Speaking of lolGeorgia, do you guys remember when Robert Edwards was supposed to be good?
Yeah me either.
Yea I didn't like us picking up J.J. Chokes in the draft.![]()
I loved me some Floyd, though he did gank my nice pen when I went to get his autograph after a game. He just walked off with it. lol
As for T.O., after all the bullshit he still has a place in my heart because of that Dallas game. Also when he shut Strahan up during that playoff game.
Aikman will be almost certainly be dead before 60.
I remember his last 2 seasons in the league, my God, no QB has ever been beaten around so badly...thank God the guy had the best Oline ever to bail him out in the early/mid 90's.
Old niners talk!
1,000 post!
The league is clearly making it part of their agenda to step in with the whole concussion thing. They've been catching flack for it ever since 60 minutes ran that special about how many football players suffer in their later days due to all the head injuries. And I mean, I think it's the right thing. These guys are fierce competitors, they were taught from day 1 to play no matter how much you're banged up. A headache isn't going to stop them unless you sit their ass down and tell them they're not going in. It's clearly the right move, you shouldn't fuck around with head injuries. I wouldn't be surprised to see more protective helmets come along at some point, too.
Bill Simmons' Power Poll is really disappointing with some of his rankings and what he says.
i find buck and aikman to be the easiest tandem to tune-out. i really dont mind them
Prepare to be even more disappointed than you already were:
Womanowski actually spit in his face; he held his composure and did not retaliate to obvious trolling. Nothing to write home about, unless you wanted to teach your kid how to turn the other cheek.
I saw a few questionable ranks, but I def liked what he said, obviously laughed at some...maybe the jokes kept me distracted from any idiocy. What was your beef specifically?
Lawl. The Skins have been a secretly frisky underdog cover ever since they hired a bingo announcer to run their offense.
Edit: Rofl
By the way, the fact that no punter has nailed the new Dallas scoreboard yet ranks among my most subtly disappointing moments of 2009. The rest of the list: January Jones' SNL hosting job; only one person flashing me at a book signing (and it was a guy); the Oscars expanding from five nominees to 10 in the best-film category; not being able to get my son to stop watching "Max and Ruby"; not getting a Federer-Nadal rematch at Wimbledon; not being there when Tom Cruise settled the Jeff Ross-Cousin Sal feud; the fact that I write about sports for a living and didn't know the Winter Olympics were in February until two days ago; LeBron's supporting cast not showing up for the 2009 Eastern finals; the hottest mom in TV history (Mrs. Keaton on "Family Ties") supplanting Mike Brady as the most shocking out-of-the-closet sitcom parent; me being dumb enough to tweet "Pats showed as much respect for NO's defense as Mrs. Tiger showed for Tiger's Escalade. That was old-school, we-have-a-plan Pats. I like it!" after the Pats went up 7-3 on Monday night; Phoenix immediately selling "1901" to a car company; and when I see "Invictus" next week. (I just know I'm going to be disappointed.)
Too real Bill Simmons.A. Chris Johnson has become this generation's Barry Sanders, only he doesn't seem to be resonating the same way. You know what kills him? Bad name. "Chris Johnson" is boring. He could be anyone. Now, if his name were Crispus Johnson? Home run. He'd have reached Barry status two months ago.
The VY (∞) > at the start is left implied because it's obvious, of course.
