Our defense has 2 injured pro bowlers in Osi and Tuck. Pierce and Boley have missed 3-4 games a piece, and Ross and Kenny Phillips have been gone the whole damn year. And we're still in prime position to steal the division with a win over the Iggles next week.

I'm not saying that the Clifton/Tauscher anchored O-Line is good, but it's not the incompetent line you saw get manhandled by the Vikes/Bears/Bengals.

Packers have been using a shorter passing game with much faster developing routes lately. They actually (to MM's delayed credit) made adjustments to the situation.

Also, the Ravens have 0 sacks in their past two games.

I'm usually not one for the old cliche'd middle-aged white man analysis but the Raven's "need" this game more than the Packers do. I expect the Raven's D to come out real aggressive, really quickly. And if Rodgers doesn't take what the defense gives him early, I can't see him pulling any late game heroics out of his ass.

(I think you mean left tackle - tackles are on the outside, guards are just off center)

In neither of those games did we have Tauscher and Clifton. You're right, our left guard Daryn Colledge is fucking trash (as is Allen Barbre - a backup who has been forced into -way- too much action at both guard and tackle), but with the tackles (Clifton and Tauscher) in place the line performs competently. When we got raped by the Lions and Bucs, we took one or both of those horrible guards and shifted them to an even harder position (tackle). It created terrible mismatches that were exploited constantly.

The line -only- works in the arrangement you'll see tonight. If you see either tackle go out with an injury and they slide a guard into the spot it will topple like dominoes, guaranteed.

TJ Lang gives some hope, he seems capable, but if you see Colledge or Barbre at tackle tonight at any point, expect to see Rodgers on his back. Hopefully that won't happen.
